Randox and Ulster University team up for major student sports sponsorship deal
The investment from Randox will supply kit and equipment for 70 sports clubs across the university’s four campuses, including individual and team sports such as basketball, GAA, hockey, football, athletics and more. As of 2021, 5000 students have taken part in sports club activities and more than 3000 students have worn a Randox jersey.

Randox unveils SARS-CoV-2 antibody test to determine previous COVID-19 infection
Randox launch new SARS-CoV-2 IgG test, utilising patented Randox Biochip Technology to simultaneously detect IgG antibodies that are reactive to both of the leading COVID-19 diagnostic antigens – Spike Receptor Binding Domain (RBD) and Nucleocapsid protein (NP) , and superior to other commercially available COVID-19 IgG tests.
Covid Travel Testing
Randox launch travel testing service at key airport locations across the UK and Ireland, offering rapid PCR tests for those who require a negative test before travelling. The service delivers test results within 48 hours of sample receipt, to provide passengers with a cost-effective, fast and reliable COVID-19 testing service prior to their travels.

Mobile COVID-19 Labs
Randox launch Mobile COVID-19 Labs for workplace testing. The service offers rapid and reliable COVID-19 testing to workplaces with capability to process up to 1000 samples per day.
Randox extends Grand National Festival Sponsorship for a further five years
Randox secured an agreement with The Jockey Club for a five-year extension to the sponsorship of the world’s greatest steeplechase, The Grand National, and the three-day Grand National Festival staged at Aintree Racecourse.

A new addition as of 2021, the VeraSTAT offers a simple, accurate, fast and portable point of care device based on cathodic electrochemiluminescence technology. Designed to offer users the next generation of rapid diagnosis, providing results in as little as 6 minutes.
Introducing the new VeraSTAT-V
Another new addition in 2021, the Randox VeraSTAT-V has been designed to detect the earliest signs of inflammation in veterinary diagnosis. Building upon the fond attachment Randox has with the equestrian world through the sponsorship of the Aintree Grand National, the VeraSTAT-V is a stable-side device designed to detect, measure, and monitor inflammation in whole horse blood.
Randox sign principal partnership with Sheffield United FC
Randox announce the signing of a three-year principle partnership agreement with Sheffield United. Commencing in the 2021/22 season, the deal includes both men’s and women’s first teams, with both wearing the Randox logo on their jerseys.
Gold standard testing for Team GB
Randox sign a two-year partnership with Team GB, providing Covid-19 testing for the summer and winter games. Including Tokyo 2020 and Beijing 2022.

Randox announced as the Official Diagnostics Partner of Olimpia Milano basketball team. The deal provides the sporting institution access to Randox’s technology to perform a variety of health testing on Olimpia’s athletes and wider support staff.

The Randox CE marked SARS-CoV-2 IgG RBD & NP array utilises patented biochip technology to simultaneously detect IgG antibodies against both leading COVID-19 diagnostic antigens; Spike Receptor Binding Domain (RBD) and Nucleocapsid protein (NP). The SARS-CoV-2 IgG (RBD & NP) array is compatible with both capillary and venous blood collection.
Randox develop SARS-CoV-2 Neutralising Assays
The Randox CE marked Sars-CoV-2 neutralising assays measures neutralising antibodies to Wild Type (Wuhan), Delta & Omicron variants following vaccination or natural infection. Wild Type Surrogate Virus Neutralisation Assay and Delta SARS-CoV-2 Surrogate Virus Neutralisation Assay detect antibodies that block interaction of the spike protein receptor-binding domain (RBD) and angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2). Randox Laboratories currently have in development an assay designed to detect antibodies against SARS-CoV-2 Omicron variant.
