VeraSTAT-Sports Performance
Best in the Field
VeraSTAT-Improve your performance
As the best it’s field, the Randox VeraSTAT device allows athletes to overcome the limitations of other generation tests, providing accurate, cost effective and reliable results that will help users receive the care necessary to get them back on their feet and back to their best.
Monitoring response to exercise is vitally important to an athlete and trainer. While a heavy training schedule can lead to chronic immunosuppression in athletes, it is essential that they receive the appropriate care in the case of a dip in health state. Eliminating the risk of inflammation and infection is essential to preventing disruptions to practice and performance.
VeraSTAT Test Menu
The VeraSTAT testing menu is designed to monitor an athletes immune response to exercise. C-Reactive Protein (CRP) levels are used to guide the treatment of bacterial infections or inflammation associated with tissue injury and other inflammatory disorders. On the other hand, Mxyovirus Resistance Protein 1 (MxA) is used as a key indicator of viral infections. These tests used in combination, can allow healthcare clinicians to determine the best course of treatment and get the athlete back to full health
C-Reactive Protein (CRP)
CRP is a Key indicator of inflammation and stress, often resulting from the breakdown in tissues. Overtraining can lead to elevated levels of CRP in the body.
Myxovirus Resistance Protein I (MxA)
MxA is a key indicator of a viral infection which may impact physical performance and activity levels. Unexplained failures are often attributed to recent or current infections.
The world’s most extensive Drugs of Abuse Test Menu
Randox Toxicology offers the most comprehensive Drugs of Abuse (DoA) test menu across multiple forensic matrices. Our level of expertise in toxicology research and development allows us to adapt quickly to the ever-changing market influences and develop assays for current and novel drugs trends. Excellent assay precision and performance eliminates false reporting, therefore reducing unnecessary confirmatory tests and time lost in the laboratory as a result. Our Biochip Arrays offer CVs typically less than 10%, producing an accurate drug profile to ensure confidence in results.

The Evidence Series of immunoassay analysers are powered by Biochip Array Technology and combine the latest technological advances for drug residue detection using immunoassay principles. The Drugs of Abuse II panel is available for both the Evidence and the Evidence Investigator analysers. The Evidence has a throughput of 90 samples per hour, testing up to 44 tests per sample. The Evidence is a fully automated batch immunoanalyser, allowing for 3960 tests per hour, while the Evidence Investigator is a semi-automated, bench top analyser with testing capabilities of 2376 tests in 70 minutes.

The RX series – Raising Awareness of Urology Week
This week marks Urology Week, an important week in the annual health calendar. Urology Week is an initiative of the European Association of Urology (EAU) that aims to raise awareness of urological conditions among the general public and provide knowledge into how vital urology is to your standard of life.
What is Urology?
Urology is a surgical speciality which involves the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the kidneys, ureters, bladder, prostate and male reproductive organs. It is an extremely varied branch of medicine and caters for patients of both genders and all ages, from infants to elderly pensioners. (1)
Did you know?
There are 25 million or 16% of Europeans above 40 years of age who experience some symptoms of urinary incontinence, with costs of this condition totalling approximately €7 billion in just 6 countries? Currently, 10% of all medical care involves Urology which is a large proportion of the annual healthcare spend. (2)
The RX series Clinical Chemistry Analysers offer a comprehensive renal testing panel which allows for a quick and accurate diagnosis to combat urological diseases.
The RX series Renal Function Test Panel is aimed to help diagnose and manage conditions affecting kidney function; these tests may be used as part of general health screening or to screen someone who is at risk of developing kidney disease.
Why choose the RX series analysers to test Renal Function?
- Extremely low patient sample volumes are required ensuring the upmost in patient comfort
- Accurate testing ensures patients can receive correct treatment as early as possible
- STAT functionality allows for the addition of emergency samples when required
- Advanced QC capabilities insuring your results are both accurate and reliable.
