The RIQAS Blood Typing EQA Programme will run at a frequency of two challenges, quarterly across a 12-month period, suitable for use on both manual and automated systems. Supporting laboratories in monitoring and maintaining the accuracy of blood typing assessments, crucial for reducing risks and ensuring safe outcome during blood transfusions, organ transplants and pregnancy.
